Nike Football is set to re-release the original Hypervenom boot, a highly popular design previously endorsed by football stars such as Neymar Jr. and Wayne Rooney. These iconic cleats are scheduled for a Summer 2025 re-release, expected to evoke nostalgia among long-standing fans.

The Hypervenom Phantom I will make its return in the classic “Black/Citrus” color scheme, alongside new variations. Among the fresh additions is a “Transform Hydra” makeover, which complements the boot’s NikeSkin design.

About the Nike Hypervenom Phantom I “Transform Hydra”

The pair’s upper features a gradient effect with a dimpled texture that transitions into a “Photo Blue” pattern.

Consistent with the original design, these boots incorporate All Conditions Control (ACC) coating and offset laces to ensure reliable performance. A new spider graphic will be present on the medial heel, replacing the former skull-and-bones logo. This spider motif appears to be the inspiration behind the “White/Black/Blue Fury” pair, with its gradient design resembling a venomous arachnid and its web. These graphics will also be found on the nylon shoe bag included with the boots.

Notably, the “Transform Hydra” version of this boot possesses color-changing capabilities. Similar to a limited edition Hypervenom Phantom released in 2015, this upcoming boot reveals more “Blue Fury” when it comes into contact with water.
