The New Balance Fresh Foam BB v3, initially launched through a partnership with Bricks & Wood during NBA All-Star Weekend, is now poised for a broader release. Multiple general release color options are anticipated for Summer/Fall 2025, kicking off with the “Light Grey” and “White/Blue” versions.
About the New Balance Fresh Foam BB v3
While maintaining its focus on comfort and support, the Fresh Foam BB v3 marks a significant departure from its forerunner. Notably, the previous topographic midsole has been replaced by a new construction that includes a midfoot plate. The upper now features rounded synthetic overlays, and a distinct oval pattern is incorporated across both the upper and midsole. Below, the sneaker boasts a redesigned, segmented outsole with a wavy traction pattern.
To inaugurate the Fresh Foam BB v3 line, New Balance is embracing its heritage with a “Light Grey” colorway that evokes a vintage aesthetic. Similar to a Fresh Foam BB v2 release from 2024, white leather is visible through the rounded cut-outs of the upper. The tongue is adorned with stitched text proclaiming New Balance’s “The Intelligent Choice” motto, and cream-colored laces add to the aged look.
The “White/Blue” Fresh Foam BB v3 likely offers a glimpse into the design direction of upcoming iterations. Its upper is predominantly crafted from synthetic materials, presenting a harmonious blend of white and subtle blue shades. A darker blue hue highlights the new midfoot plate, while translucent icy soles complete the design underfoot.
Release Details
As of now, a definitive release date and retail price for the New Balance Fresh Foam BB v3 have not been set. However, a Summer/Fall 2025 launch is expected, with an estimated price range of US$120-US$140. Further details will be provided as they become available.
