Beyond this high-profile collaboration, the silhouette has consistently undergone transformations, evolving into a ballet-inspired flat designed by PUMA’s in-house team and a mid-cut version in partnership with Aries. The latest evolution sees the distinctive silhouette reinterpreted as the PUMA Mostro Mule, a collaboration with Louis Gabriel Nouchi.

About the Louis Gabriel Nouchi x PUMA Mostro Mule Pack

This mule iteration retains the PUMA Mostro’s characteristic spiky outsole. However, its transformation is more intricate than typical mule adaptations. Instead of a simple heel removal, PUMA and Louis Gabriel Nouchi have engineered the Mostro Mule with a single-piece construction of EVA foam and rubber. Furthermore, the design incorporates a distinctive twisted, wavy opening for the foot, which, despite its slip-on nature, offers a degree of foot security.

This release introduces the Louis Gabriel Nouchi x PUMA Mostro Mule in sophisticated tonal brown and green colorways. These follow an initial “Chapter One” drop approximately two months prior, which featured all-black and all-white versions.

The brown and green Louis Gabriel Nouchi x PUMA Mostro Mule colorways are currently available on Louis Gabriel Nouchi’s official website, with a broader release scheduled for 30 May at select PUMA retailers. The retail price for these mules is US$150.
