Nike Air Max Plus Golf “US Open” [Release Date/Price/Where To Buy]
A direct nod to Pittsburgh's enduring legacy in steel manufacturing.
As the golf world shifts its focus to the upcoming US Open, Nike is set to release a commemorative edition of its Air Max Plus Golf shoe, paying homage to the tournament’s 2025 host, Oakmont Country Club. The event, scheduled for 12-15 June 2025, will mark the record tenth time Oakmont, located near Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, has hosted the prestigious major.
About the Nike Air Max Plus Golf “US Open”
The special “US Open” edition of the Air Max Plus Golf features a “Metallic Silver/Light Smoke Grey/Photon Dusty” upper, a direct nod to Pittsburgh’s enduring legacy in steel manufacturing, often referred to as the “Steel City”.

Further reinforcing this theme, a custom logo depicting an anvil alongside the phrase “Forged For Victory” is prominently displayed on the tongue and insoles. The heel also bears the inscription “Nike Forged Beaverton OR.”, a likely subtle reference to both the shoe’s inspiration and a potential connection to Beaverton, Oregon-based Seamus Golf, known for producing hand-forged ball markers for the US Open.

Adding a vibrant contrast, a “Bright Crimson/Safety Orange” gradient accents the Swoosh border, insoles, midfoot plate, and the spike-less golf outsole.
