Hopefully this will go some way towards mitigating the effects of the Black Bolt [BLK] / White Flare [WHT] product shortages.

The Pokémon Company International (TPCi) has confirmed that it plans to set up more Pokémon TCG vending machines in the US. This move comes as part of a push on TPCi’s part to directly sell more products to customers.

As of the latest figures, TPCi operates 1,473 vending machines across 25 US states as well as the District of Columbia.

The announcement comes on the back of recent information that mass product shortages will occur at the international release of dual set Black Bolt [BLK] and White Flare [WHT] on 18 July 2025. Many stores will be receiving far less than the initially expected product allocation with some to even receive none at all until a date yet to be confirmed.

This is TPCi’s latest of several measures focusing on direct sales to customers. Prior to this announcement, TPCi had already implemented a queue system on the international Pokémon Center website and imposed purchase limits on those buying from the vending machines in question.
