A recent variant of the Green Bonney deck features two new additions to strengthen the deck’s matchup against those which it would ordinarily struggle. One of those two cards is the Pedro card from Two Legends [OP-08].

About Pedro (Two Legends [OP-08] OP08-030)

This card has a Blocker effect, meaning that after the opponent confirms an attack, the player can rest this card to make it the new target of the attack. This can often be used to shield the Green Bonney deck’s more important late-game cards. Additionally, if Pedro is KO’d by that attack or any other, the player can then instantly KO an opposing Character card with a cost of 6 or less. As such, this card is also an important KO tool within the deck’s new build.

This card’s Rare Parallel (R-P) iteration depicts the former captain of the Nox Pirates in combat in one of the scenes taken from the One Piece manga’s Whole Cake Island Arc. The dynamic Parallel Art illustration depicts Pedro about to unsheath his sword against an off-screen foe.
