One of two key additions to a new variant of the Black Lucci deck is the Laboon card from the Extra Booster Memorial Collection [EB-01]. Following several recent card bans which impacted the deck’s status in the ONE PIECE Card Game, the deck’s new variant which includes this card has helped the Black Lucci deck remain a top-tier option.

About Laboon (Extra Booster Memorial Collection [EB-01] EB01-048)

When played, Laboon allows the player to reduce the cost of an opposing Character card by 4 after being rested. It’s usually played in combination with the Uta card from the Monkey D. Luffy Starter Deck [ST-08] which also has a cost-reducing impact. This therefore leaves opposing Character cards vulnerable to being KO’d.

The version of this card which holds the most value is the Super Rare Parallel (SR-P) version which was awarded as a prize at May 2025 Treasure Cup tournaments in Europe, North America, Oceania, and Latin America. In addition to the card’s status as a tournament prize card, the narrative that can be seen in the illustration adds to its desirability among collectors. This is because the silhouette Brook of the Straw Hat Pirates, whose greatest desire is to finally reunite with Laboon, can be seen in the upper right corner of the Parallel Art illustration.

Release Details

Although this card has a Japanese version, the Treasure Cup prize iteration is an English-exclusive card.

The sale price of a Laboon (Extra Booster Memorial Collection [EB-01] EB01-048) card of SR-P rarity is 45,070 JPY (~US$315).
