The next Pokémon TCG set in the works has now had its release date confirmed. Inferno X will be launched in Japan on 26 September 2025.
About Inferno X
The headliner of Inferno X will be a Mega Charizard X card, marking its first appearance in the Pokémon TCG since the BREAK Starter Pack [20th] way back in 2016. It can be considered something of a successor to 2014 set Wild Blaze [XY2] from Gen 6 as that set was headlined by Mega Charizard X and Mega Charizard Y cards.
This will be the second consecutive set headlined by a Mega-Evolved Pokémon following Mega Brave [M1L] and Mega Symphonia [M1S] which star Mega Lucario ex and Mega Gardevoir ex respectively.
