Nike Air Max Moto 2K [Release Date/Price/Where To Buy]
A 2008 Nike running icon with dual cushioning is back with a 2K twist.
Nike is reviving a beloved classic from its archives. The Air Max Moto+ 6, a dual-cushioned running shoe originally launched in 2008 as part of Nike’s Bowerman Series, is being reintroduced with a contemporary twist as the Air Max Moto 2K.
The original Moto+ 6 was designed to provide runners with a comfortable and stable experience, utilizing Cushlon foam and Air Max technology, drawing parallels to the popular Air Max Triax. Although Nike shifted its focus to newer models such as the Pegasus and Structure, the Moto is now set to make a stylish comeback as a mesh retro silhouette. This revival aligns with Nike’s recent trend of bringing back Y2K-era runners, such as the Pegasus 2K5 and Vomero 5, suggesting the Moto 2K is the next in this lineage.
About the Nike Air Max Moto 2K
While a variety of colorways are anticipated to be released later this year and beyond, a “Black/Metallic Silver/Anthracite” version has recently emerged as a women’s exclusive. The new pair reveals a design that closely mirrors the original 17-year-old model.

It features the signature breathable mesh construction complemented by sleek, reflective overlays that contour the shoe. Notably, the Cushlon and Air Max cushioning systems have been retained, promising a familiar feel with an updated aesthetic.

Although men’s versions are likely to follow, there is a possibility that Nike will strategically market the Moto 2K more towards women, a pattern observed with similar retro releases.
