About Jacq (Scarlet ex [SV1S] 104/078)

When played, Jacq allows the player to retrieve two evolved Pokémon from the deck and put them in the player’s hand. Thus, if the player needs quick access to evolution, Jacq can sometimes be just the card to make it happen. As such, Jacq is typically included in evolution-centric decks such as the Dragapult ex, Charizard ex, and Gardevoir ex decks.

This card also has a version in the Special Art Rare (SAR) rarity. The card’s Full Art illustration depicts the biology teacher at Naranja Academy or Uva Academy (depending on whether Pokémon Scarlet or Violet is the version being played) asleep on his desk with the window open. The card’s unexpected yet appealing imagery coupled with its rarity make it one of the set’s more impressive pickups.
