Converse, the ne plus ultra of American sportswear pedigree, has never been afraid to punch above its weight, building on collaborations with luxury heavyweights like Rick Owens and Kenzo. The brand’s ongoing partnership with Swarovski, following the crystal-laden Run Star Trainer collaboration in December 2024, now reimagines the quintessential Chuck Taylor, applying the jeweler’s signature sparkle to both high- and low-top iterations.

About the Swarovski x Converse Chuck Taylor Collection

The latest Swarovski x Chuck Taylors maintain their classic canvas chassis but are retrofitted with regal crystal embellishments.

The high-top model features a bedazzled base layer, collar, and heel, with a star-shaped cutout on the medial All-Star emblem encrusted in Swarovski stones. The low-top Ox variant opts for subtler branding, channelling the joint effort’s opulence to the insole and heel license plate.

Both retain their vulcanized rubber midsoles and gum outsoles, grounding the luxe updates in familiar Chuck Taylor DNA. Notably, the design omits overt Swarovski branding, allowing the crystals themselves to serve as the partnership’s hallmark.

Release Details

The high-top will retail for US$450, the low-top US$350. Both are set to release via Nike SNKRS, Converse.com, and select global retailers in 2025. Stay tuned for a firm release date!
