The Sinful Spoils storyline, originally revealed in its entirety in The Valuable Book EX 4, is one of the most popular among the Yu-Gi-Oh TCG fanbase, with many of its associated characters going on to become fan favorites. Now, a new card, which hadn’t initially been mentioned in the storyline but has now been confirmed to have been a part of it, has just been released in Duelist Advance: Morgana the Witch of Eyes.

About Morgana the Witch of Eyes (Duelist Advance DUAD-JP026)

Konami had already provided a “sneak preview” of Morgana the Witch of Eyes on two prior cards. In the illustrations of Supreme Darkness cards, Play the Diabell and Sinful Spoils Awakening, Morgana the Witch of Eyes—who was, at the time of the release of Supreme Darkness, an unknown character—can be seen in the background. Additionally, the Azamina Moa Regina card from Rage of the Abyss has now been confirmed to be an upgraded Fusion counterpart of Morgana the Witch of Eyes. These connections to prior cards, especially those which have proven to be highly popular due to their backstories, therefore add to the card’s status.

Since this card has a version in the set’s highest rarity of Prismatic Secret Rare, it therefore has a degree of inherent value. Additionally, it’s also a card featuring a female character—and on top of that, female characters from the Sinful Spoils storyline tend to be major fan favorites due to their “femme fatale” vibes; Morgana the Witch of Eyes is herself a character like that.
