Despite what a cursory glance at the illustration of the Argostars – Courageous Arion card from the newly-released Yu-Gi-Oh TCG Core Booster Duelist Advance might cause one to assume, Argostars – Courageous Arion doesn’t depict the human character atop the metallic horse, but rather the metallic horse itself. That being said, this doesn’t detract from the card’s value in any way.

About Argostars – Courageous Arion (Duelist Advance DUAD-JP045)

Part of this card’s appeal has to do with the fact that the character riding Argostars – Courageous Arion is Argostars – Glorious Adra—a highly popular character who made her Yu-Gi-Oh TCG debut in Series 12 Core Booster Supreme Darkness. Despite not being the intended focus of the card’s imagery, her appearance nonetheless accounts for much of the card’s value.

In addition, this is one of the 20 cards in Duelist Advance which has a Prismatic Secret Rare version. However, this is a card which will almost certainly be of interest to collectors alone as it doesn’t do much to strengthen the Argostars deck—a deck which already is nowhere near metagame relevance as-is. That said, its gameplay unviability isn’t expected to deter collectors in any way.
