Card Game: The Chronicles as well as the Sky Strikers arc of the Yu-Gi-Oh OCG Stories manga, this card’s illustration features a background cameo appearance by Sky Striker Ace = Zero—the most valuable card of the entire Duelist Advance set. This background appearance of a major fan favorite, combined with its relevance to the storyline of the relevant story arc, has jacked up the value of this card.

Being a card that depicts a female character, Sky Striker Alternative – Lemnis Gate inherently carries a degree of demographical appeal. In addition, this is the first-ever Sky Striker Quick-Play Spell Card which doesn’t require the player’s Main Monster Zone to be devoid of monster cards, adding a level of uniqueness to the card.
