About Gagaga Girl (Duelist Advance +1 Assist Pack DUAD-JPS01)

This reprint of Gagaga Girl is its fourth version so far, dating back to its 2011 debut in Order of Chaos, a Series 7 Yu-Gi-Oh TCG Core Booster. However, in addition to its rarity, another factor which sets the Duelist Advance +1 Assist Pack is the fact that it features a never-before-seen alternate illustration. Both of these factors, coupled with the fact that the card features a female character, have elevated the value of this card.

Gagaga Girl is closely linked to several other cards as the character shown has appeared in the backgrounds of those cards’ illustrations; this is likely to interest those who are deeply interested in Yu-Gi-Oh’s in-universe lore. Additionally, the card parallels Dark Magician Girl—one of the most iconic Yu-Gi-Oh TCG cards of all time—because Gagaga Girl is the apprentice of Gagaga Magician just as Dark Magician Girl is the apprentice of Dark Magician; Gagaga Magician and Dark Magician are themselves counterparts.
