Pokémon fans in South Korea have something special to look forward to this spring with the arrival of the Metamong Project event, running from 25 April to 18 May 2025. The event celebrates the quirky and lovable Ditto—known as “Metamong” in Korean—and will bring interactive experiences and exclusive merchandise to Pokémon Trainers of all ages.

Hosted across various major cities in Korea, the Metamong Project event aims to highlight the shapeshifting charm of this iconic Pokémon. Attendees can participate in themed photo zones, immersive installations, and a variety of Ditto-centric activities that explore its ability to transform into other Pokémon.

As part of the event, participants will be able to obtain a Korean-exclusive promotional Ditto card created specifically for the event. While full details on the promotional card are yet to be announced, fans are encouraged to check with local retailers for eligibility and participation guidelines.

Other key attractions include exclusive Ditto merchandise available only during the event period. Fans can expect everything from plush toys and keychains to playmats, deck boxes, and apparel, all designed to capture Ditto’s signature smile and playful personality.
