Nearly 12 years have passed since the Nike Zoom KD 6 “All-Star” first illuminated the hardwood in 2014. Now, the rumor mill hints at the return of this celebrated silhouette. Following a cascade of retro releases that resurrected cherished Nike KD 4 colorways, the Swoosh delves further into Durant’s storied archives, revisiting a significant chapter with the KD 6.

About the Nike Zoom KD 6 “All-Star”

Worn by Kevin Durant during his fifth All-Star appearance in the festive setting of New Orleans, this KD 6 was a notable inclusion in the spirited “NOLA Gumbo League” lineup. Like the city’s signature dish, the design itself is a flavorful concoction.

The upper features an amorphous, almost abstract graphic treatment, reminiscent of a Jackson Pollock canvas. Further accentuating its visual presence is the glow-in-the-dark Green Glow sole. The KD logo remains positioned on the heel, rounding out its design.

Release Details

The Nike Zoom KD 6 “All-Star” is expected to arrive sometime in Spring 2026. Although the exact date has yet to be announced, it is expected to arrive in February, mirroring its initial debut at the NBA All-Star Weekend. Till then, images of the 2014 version offer a look at what’s to come.
