The PokéTimes Twitter account, an official source operated by The Pokémon Company (TPC), recently released three manga strips which revealed the backstories behind three Art Rare (AR) cards from the recently-released Pokémon TCG set The Glory of Team Rocket [SV10].

The three cards in question were Team Rocket’s Murkrow, Team Rocket’s Meowth, and Kangaskhan. Each manga strip displayed a sequence of events which lead up to the scene being portrayed on each card’s Full Art illustration.

Although nothing has been confirmed as of yet, there has been speculation among some in the community that from this point forth, future cards with Full Art illustrations are likely to come with manga strips explaining their narratives as well.
