Jordan Brand consistently puts a modern spin on its iconic sneakers, as seen in models like the Air Jordan 1 High Zoom CMFT and the more deconstructed Air Jordan 4 RM. This same design approach is now being applied to the Air Jordan 7, transforming it into a low-top with the introduction of the Air Jordan MVP 92 in a “Black/Wolf Grey” colorway.

About the Air Jordan MVP 92 “Black/Wolf Grey”

Initially reported as the Air Jordan 7 RM, the sneaker’s official name has been changed to the Jordan MVP 92. Design-wise, it retains familiar elements from the Air Jordan 7, including the perforated panels near the toe on the side, the shape of the overlays, and the heel structure. However, some contemporary updates are evident. The midfoot now features mesh, and the tongue and interior construction differ from the original AJ 7’s snug, bootie-like feel.

A contrasting Wolf Grey Jumpman logo appears on the tongue tag and collar. The heel showcases grey Nike Air branding on a black TPU panel that echoes the Jordan 7’s design. The sneaker is finished with the classic black and grey Jordan 7 sole unit.

Release Details

The Air Jordan MVP 92 “Black/Wolf Grey” is slated for release in Fall 2025 through Nike and select retailers, both online and in physical stores. It will be available in men’s sizes with a retail price of US$140.
