One of four Team Rocket Executives introduced in second-generation main series Pokémon video games Pokémon Gold and Silver, Ariana is the only one of the four to feature on a Special Art Rare (SAR) card in the newly-released set The Glory of Team Rocket [SV10].

About Team Rocket’s Ariana (The Glory of Team Rocket [SV10] 128/098)

Regarding the card’s imagery, there isn’t a lot to note here—the card depicts Ariana in front of an ordinary plain white background. Nevertheless, there’s still much interest in this card for the simple fact that it features a Full Art illustration of a female character. The bottom-up angle of the illustration plays to this element as it subtly emphasizes Ariana’s figure and sex appeal.

This is the only one of the Team Rocket Executive cards in The Glory of Team Rocket [SV10] which comes in the SAR rarity and therefore stands out for that reason. In addition, though not confirmed as of yet, there’s been speculation that gameplay-wise, this card’s function as a draw engine might see it become a key piece in several decks.
