Nike is dropping Ja Morant’s third signature sneaker, the Nike Ja 3, in Fall 2025. The silhouette has a design that embodies his dynamic gameplay and bold character. According to Ja, this shoe is meant to “talk before I even lace it up,” signaling its impactful design for today’s daring basketball players.

The Nike Ja 3 represents a departure from conventional sneaker design, offering a blend of durability and sleekness. A prominent monogram of Ja’s signature logo is integrated into the upper’s textured material. The scratch details from earlier Ja models are back, now serving as practical ventilation across the breathable mesh. Kurim overlays provide targeted support in areas not cut away, achieving an ideal mix of stability and airflow.

Beneath the shoe, an innovative bulldog micro-traction pattern on the outsole is engineered for superior grip, crucial for Morant’s signature crossover moves. The rubber cupsole extends into a translucent frame, showcasing a composite midsole featuring full-length ZoomX foam layered over recycled ZoomX scraps.

This construction delivers exceptional responsiveness for rapid changes in direction. “When you put on the Ja 3, I want you to feel fearless,” Morant stated. “Like you can go create your own story—on the court, off it. Just be you, loud and proud.” Expect to see this attitude on display when Ja debuts the Ja 3 “Max Volume” during the Grizzlies’ opening playoff game against the Oklahoma City Thunder.
