NIGO and Nike unveil the third chapter in their ongoing narrative of the Air Force 3 silhouette. Following the polychromatic hues of the Super Sentai-inspired “Escape Force” pack and the cinematic motifs woven into the “Ape Force” colorways, the HUMAN MADE head honcho now presents the “Black Croc” colorway to succeed its earlier white counterpart. Each pair is an homage to hip-hop’s golden age and its primordial culture of crate digging.

About the NIGO x Nike Air Force 3 Low “Black Croc”

The NIGO x Nike Air Force 3 Low “Black Croc” evokes the tactile landscape of 1980s hip-hop, the materiality of vinyl records, and the instrumental role of the turntable. Croc-embossed leather forms a textural foundation juxtaposed with embellished heel counters and dual-branded chains that drape across the laces, culminating in an opulent aesthetic, reflective of the pulse of hip-hop in that epoch.

Meanwhile, considered graphics—basketball iconography and vinyl motifs—adorn the tongues, nodding to the AF-3’s athletic lineage and NIGO’s enduring passion for record collecting.

Mirroring prior releases, each colorway will be presented in two distinct iterations: one bearing NIGO’s signature branding and an Asia-exclusive OGIN variant. These releases also include the third installment of collectible accessories—a pin shaped as the letter “I” and a chenille patch of the letter “K”—designed to contribute to the eventual spelling of “NIKE” and “NIGO” upon acquisition of all four sets.

Release Details

The “Black Croc” NIGO x Nike Air Force 3 Low will be released on 24 April via SNKRS and select retailers. Its RRP is set at US$150.
