COMME des GARÇONS SHIRT has unveiled a striking new iteration of the ASICS GEL-LYTE III 07, opting for a bold departure from subtlety. This collaboration showcases vibrant, intersecting tartan patterns that envelop the entirety of the shoe. A preview of this design was presented during the brand’s Spring/Summer 2025 Paris Fashion Week show, where the dynamic checks complemented the collection’s patched aesthetic.

About the COMME des GARÇONS SHIRT x ASICS GEL-LYTE III 07

In contrast to their more understated ASICS collaborations from the previous year, COMME des GARÇONS SHIRT is reintroducing an expressive energy to the GEL-LYTE III 07, a silhouette they previously explored in 2020. This time, the shoe’s uppers are fully adorned with multicolored tartan, assembled in varying orientations to create a patchwork effect. The midsoles also feature a tartan overprint, further enhancing the lively design.

Subtle white accents include the COMME des GARÇONS SHIRT branding on the midsole, the “GEL-LYTE III 07” designation on the side panel, and the ASICS logo positioned at the heel. White laces provide a finishing touch that contrasts with the colorful patterns. The collaborative sneaker is offered in two distinct colorways: one featuring traditional menswear hues and another incorporating pastel shades of pink, purple, and aqua.

The COMME des GARÇONS SHIRT x ASICS GEL-LYTE III 07 is currently available at Foot District, with an RRP of EUR 395 (~US$434) for each colorway. Information regarding a release in the United States is still pending.
