This time, the retro running silhouette gets a bold, cinematic upgrade with a striking “Yellow/Core Black” colorway that feels tailor-made for a Kill Bill-inspired revenge mission.
About the adidas SL 72 “Yellow/Core Black”
The latest iteration amps up the retro runner’s appeal, wrapping its upper in a dynamic mix of nylon, suede, and leather for a textured, premium feel. The titular yellow dominates the silhouette, while Core Black accents command attention on the 3-Stripes, Achilles panel, and laces, creating a stark, high-contrast aesthetic.
Underfoot, the color story stays relentless: the low-profile EVA midsole gets a vibrant makeover, while the classic serrated rubber outsole grounds the design in a pitch-dark finish.
