[Update 28 Apr 2025] After it was initially rumored to drop on 8 April, the Sporty & Rich x adidas Adistar Cushion now has a firm release date.

The pair, teased by founder Emily Oberg, is now set to drop on 2 May via Sporty & Rich’s website, while a wider release is set for 5 May through adidas brick-and-click stores. It will retail for US$120. Check out the teased visuals in the gallery and look for the pair on the SNKRDUNK App post-release.

Following their recent collaborative effort, the Sporty & Rich x adidas team-up has reimagined the Adistar Cushion. This iteration showcases a clean, Y2K-inspired aesthetic with a minimalist design.

About the Sporty & Rich x adidas Adistar Cushion

The sneaker features a breathable white mesh upper complemented by shiny silver overlays, effectively capturing the early 2000s vibe. The Sporty & Rich brand name is visible on the tongue, heel, and insole, while the iconic adidas Trefoil and silver Three-Stripes maintain a familiar look.

Subtle black accents on the outsole and tongue lining offer a contrast to the predominantly white and silver color scheme. Furthermore, the Adiprene cushioning in the sole provides comfort for all-day wear.

Release Details

The Sporty & Rich x adidas Adistar Cushion is out today, 8 April, and will be available via the adidas CONFIRMED app. It is expected to retail at US$140.
