Shoe Palace x New Balance 9060 “Cube” [Release Date/Price/Where To Buy]
Y2K meets cyberpunk.
In 2022, New Balance debuted the 9060, a shoe that has quickly become a modern icon. Following its initial launch in collaboration with Joe Freshgoods, this model has solidified its place in New Balance’s offerings, with numerous collaborative projects and a wide array of standard color options hitting the market. Adding to this, retailers have also received special makeup (SMU) versions, including a new Shoe Palace-exclusive 9060, dubbed the Shoe Palace x New Balance 9060 “Cube”.
About the Shoe Palace x New Balance 9060 “Cube”
While the shoe retains its Y2K-inspired foundation, the Shoe Palace x New Balance 9060 “Cube” introduces cyberpunk aesthetics. This influence is apparent in the shoe’s sophisticated black and grey color scheme, highlighted by white accents outlining the midfoot “N” logo, the embroidered “NB” on the heel, and the branding window on the suede tongue.
The shoe’s construction features a mix of materials that provide textural contrast, including a diamond-patterned mesh base, textured synthetic leather overlays, and shiny fused TPU film on the overlays across the toe box and collar. Other upper details include a TPU heel counter, black suede panels on the eyelets, vamp, and heel, and 3M reflective elements on the overlays.
Inside, the insole showcases a cyberpunk-themed graphic with a 3D cube design and what appears to be computer code. The shoe is finished with its signature chunky midsole and outsole in white, dark grey, and black.
Release Details
The Shoe Palace x New Balance 9060 “Cube” was released on 28 March 2025 and is available exclusively at Shoe Palace brick-and-click stores. This special edition pair is offered in full-family sizing, with retail prices set at US$150 for men’s sizes, US$110 for grade school, US$95 for preschool, and US$80 for toddler sizes.
