About Dogmatika Maximus (Complete File: Story of White CF01-JP005)

The card’s illustration has a menacing feel to it apt for the canonical events about to take place. The scene shown is before Dogmatika Maximus commences a ritual which would turn all his followers into creatures known as the Despia before absorbing the ritual’s dark power to become the Dramaturge of Despia.

The reprinted version of this card from Complete File: Story of White is the only one of this card which comes in Quarter Century Secret Rare. This card does have a level of gameplay utility as well; when played, by sending two of the player’s Extra Deck monsters with different names to the player’s Graveyard, the player gets intel on the opponent’s strategy because the opponent must then do likewise.
