The abrupt end of Victor Wembanyama’s sophomore season has not dimmed the luminescence of his partnership with Nike. Though the “Dusty Cactus” GT Hustle 3, a constant companion during his 2024-2025 campaign, remains an enigma, another “Barley Volt/Purple Agate” colorway has surfaced.

About the Victor Wembanyama x Nike GT Hustle 3 “Barley Volt/Purple Agate”

Diverging from the monochromatic palette of the Black Label Collection’s All-Star release, this GT Hustle 3, a channel for Wemby’s extraterrestrial aesthetic, presents a tableau.

A Barely Volt hue engulfs the knitted upper, its brilliance waning as it descends into the abyss of black. The Swoosh, in Purple Agate, and the GT Hustle 3 inscription introduce a textual counterpoint, punctuating the contrast between Volt and Black.

Sans overt tributes at the forefoot, the Wemby GT Hustle’s narrative unfolds at the heel, where his alien logo resides. The midsole features a gradient of Purple Agate and Dark Grey juxtaposed against Barley Volt speckles. Underfoot, Air Zoom units in the forefoot promise a responsive stride.

Release Details

The Victor Wembanyama x Nike GT Hustle 3 “Barley Volt/Purple Agate” is slated for a Summer 2025 release. It will be available digitally and physically through Nike and select retailers and will be priced at US$190.
