The 2024 Summer Olympics is nigh, and having won gold in the inaugural skateboarding event in the Tokyo Games in 2021, Yuto Horigome is more than likely to qualify for this year’s games in Paris. Soon after one career milestone, however, came another: the debut of his signature Nike SB Dunk Low, which inevitably became one of 2023’s most successful releases.

About the Yuto Horigome x Nike SB Dunk Low “Matcha”
Initially called the “Asparagus” colorway, this Nike SB Yuto features Horigome’s signature cross-feather logo on the lateral heel. Its upper features a mix of green and brown tones across a premium suede and leather construction.
Green accents adorn the Swooshes, and a co-branded tongue tag imprinted with Nike SB and Horigome’s name take up real estate on the heel. The “NIKE” embroidery on the heel showcases a regal touch akin to his gold Olympic medal.
Release Details
[Update 24 Mar 2025] With a price tag of US$135, the Yuto SB Dunk Low “Matcha”, formerly known as “Asparagus”, has been confirmed for release in select skate shops worldwide on 3 April, with a wider Nike SNKRS launch on the 5th.
