Nike has loaded more bullets into the chamber, preparing a barrage of Nike Kobe releases in 2025 and 2026. Already finding its spot in next year’s calendar is the Kobe 6 “All-Star 3D Hollywood”, which will be retrofitted as a Protro.

The Nike Kobe 6 “All-Star 3D Hollywood” was indubitably part of the 2011 All-Star festivities. Although Kobe ended up taking to the court in a “Black/Red” colorway to match his team’s uniform, the titular pair created its own highlight reel when it was presented to Conan O’Brien on an episode of Conan.

The shoe features a distinct, intentionally blurred, scaled upper, designed to evoke a 3D effect without the use of specialized glasses. Mismatched Chlorine Blue and Daring Red accents provide a contrasting visual element. The inner tongue displays a 3D glasses graphic, and the insole includes a graphic referencing Los Angeles, the location of the 2011 All-Star Game.

Performance enhancements in this Kobe 6 Protro include a Cushlon midsole, Zoom Turbo forefoot cushioning, and a redesigned outsole, complementing its unique aesthetic.

Release Details

The Nike Kobe 6 Protro “All-Star 3D Hollywood” is rumored to be released in February 2026, coinciding with the All-Star Game, for US$190. Stay tuned!
