To celebrate three decades of the Air Max 95, Nike is bringing back its distinctive “Big Bubble” sole technology. Joining the Nike Air Max 95 Big Bubble “Bright Crimson”, a newly unveiled Nike Air Max 95 OG “Triple Black” has arrived in March 2025.

The Nike Air Max 95 OG “Triple Black” presents a completely dark, monochromatic look for this well-known shoe design. While retaining the classic shape, this contemporary version modifies the Air cushioning. Instead of the sulfur hexafluoride (SF6) used in the 1995 release, the current model employs nitrogen to enhance environmental friendliness. Furthermore, the updated Air units are integrated more smoothly into the midsole, differing from the more prominent units of the original.

In the aesthetics department, the Nike Air Max 95 OG “Triple Black” showcases an upper constructed entirely from leather, incorporating smooth, safari, and snakeskin textures to create visual interest. The shoe’s characteristic layered, wave-like panels are preserved, maintaining its striking, multi-dimensional appearance. A shiny black midsole encases the signature Air units, providing a streamlined and cohesive look.

Release Details

The Nike Air Max 95 OG “Triple Black” is scheduled to launch in Summer 2025 at specific Nike Sportswear retailers and on Nike’s online platform. Expect a retail price of US$180.
