As part of the upcoming BOSS x Pokémon Card Game Campaign which will begin on 20 May 2025, a new promotional Pokémon TCG card will be released. The card in question will be a Team Rocket’s Giovanni card.

About Team Rocket’s Giovanni (SV-P Promotional Cards 270/SV-P)

The right side of the promotional Team Rocket’s Giovanni card will have the BOSS logo on it to represent the campaign which it’s a part of. Though not directly specified, the illustration also serves as indirect product placement because the cup of coffee which Giovanni is holding is implied to be one from BOSS.

This card was specifically chosen for the campaign for two reasons: firstly, because Giovanni is the boss of Team Rocket and therefore fits the name of the brand which is co-running the campaign and secondly, because it’s intended to be a tie-in with the upcoming Pokémon TCG set The Glory of Team Rocket [SV10].

Since this card will be part of a limited-time campaign, it’s certainly possible that it will draw much demand—especially after the campaign ends and no more new copies are being produced.

Release Details

It isn’t yet known if there will ever be an English translation of this card. Additionally, its retail price will only be known once the first copies are sold on the open market. Stay with us for more to come on that.
