About K9 – #17 “Ripper” (Deck Build Pack: Justice Hunters DBJH-JP035)

Being one of the set’s three cards with a Prismatic Secret Rare version, much of the card’s value is derived from its rarity. In addition, this card depicts a female character and is therefore likely to appeal to large portions of the fandom’s main demographic. The illustration itself adds to this effect by having K9 – #17 “Ripper” in a somewhat form-fitting combat outfit; she’s also been drawn in a way that emphasizes her curves and bust.

Since this is one of the set’s six cover cards, it’s likely that many people saw the image on this card well before the set’s actual release. This would have in turn driven up interest in the card, subsequently leading to more demand for it in general upon the actual release of Deck Build Pack: Justice Hunters.
