Elsewhere in a more distant world, another testament to this cultural osmosis is the “Air Muscle“, an homage to the Air Max 95, perpetually adorning the feet of Katsuya Jonouchi, known to many as Joey Wheeler from Yu-Gi-Oh!. The legacy IP and Nike finally announced an official take on the fictional “Air Muscle”, a recurring motif and a near-doppelgänger of the Air Max 95 “Neon.“

About the Yu-Gi-Oh! x Nike Air Muscle 95

Behold, the Nike Air Max Muscle 95 is a bridge between the iconic sneaker and its manga-born counterpart. Unfortunately, information is scant at the time of writing. Nevertheless, from what’s known so far, the collaborative silhouette will arrive in two colorways: “White/Wolf Grey-Dark Smoke Grey-Cool Grey” and “Psychic Blue/Mystic Navy-Stone Blue-Volt”.

If it’s any consolation, the pairs will also be accompanied by a Nike Destroyer Jacket QS in Blue Void/Off White and two Nike Solo Swoosh Tees, one in Black and the other in White.

Release Details

The Yu-Gi-Oh! x Nike Air Muscle 95 Pack is purported to be released in Fall 2025 for US$200 a pair. Stay tuned for more details and images in the coming weeks!
