GALLERY DEPT., led by Josué Thomas, returns to Vans, infusing the Authentic Reissue 44 with their signature mix of artistry and rebellion. Building on their acclaimed Rowley collaboration, the LA atelier presents a canvas of vintage cream, disrupted by paint splatters, echoing their GALLERY DEPT. x ASICS GT-2160 design.

About the GALLERY DEPT. x Vans Authentic Reissue 44

The collaboration unfolds with an off-white, cream canvas, a backdrop upon which a tempest of black and polychromatic paint splatters erupts. A distressed midsole is etched with the crimson proclamation “Art That Kills”.

A translucent cerulean stripe, a ribbon of cool contrast, traces the foxing. True to its lineage, the silhouette retains the vulcanized rubber sole and waffle outsole, a testament to enduring craftsmanship.

The lateral panels are adorned with co-branded yellow Vans tags, like gilded signatures. The custom packaging is emblazoned with the cautionary “Handle With Care,” reinforcing the brand’s art-centric ethos.
