This re-emergence, following a brief, women-specific revival in 2020, promises a refined iteration, a subtle yet significant evolution of its 2018 predecessor.

The 2025 AJ3 “Seoul 2.0” colorway retains its signature palette: a blend of white, cerulean, crimson, and obsidian. The hallmark elephant print overlays and the classic “Nike Air” heel branding remain, anchoring the design in its heritage. A deliberately aged, yellowed midsole lends an antique patina, while the elephant print is now subtly distressed. Lastly, the once-translucent outsole is now a solid grey, a muted counterpoint to the upper.

Further refinements include substituting the midfoot and upper eyelets from black to white and replacing the leather ankle collar with stitched cotton, a textile evocative of traditional Korean garments. The South Korean flag is embroidered on the tongue. While still unconfirmed, the potential return of the original Korean script behind the tongue would serve as a resonant homage to Seoul’s strong sneaker culture.

The Air Jordan 3 “Seoul 2.0” will be available on 15 May 2025 at Nike SNKRS and select Jordan Brand retailers, priced at US$200.
