2025 is shaping up to be an electrifying year for Japanese visionary artist Takashi Murakami. Fresh off the heels of his recent collaborations with Louis Vuitton and MLB, Murakami is reportedly teaming up with Hong Kong-based tech brand CASETiFY.

Bridging Art and Technology

Wesley Ng, CEO of CASETiFY, has already fueled excitement by sharing an image of himself alongside Murakami, accompanied by a screenshot of their message exchange. The text reads, “I can’t wait to show the world our collab!”—a tantalizing teaser for what’s to come.

“When Takashi-san and I first met, we talked for hours about making art part of everyone’s daily digital life. What followed was months of close collaboration, pushing the boundaries of what’s possible when you merge iconic art with everyday tech. This collection is the result of that shared vision,” shared Wesley Ng.

The collection will feature Mr. DOB, the beloved avatar central to Murakami’s artistic universe, alongside his iconic Murakami Flowers, showcased across a range of stylish tech accessories.

“Mr. DOB has been my artistic companion since the beginning of my career, representing both my evolution as an artist and my commentary on contemporary culture. Through this collaboration with CASETiFY, I’m excited to bring Mr. DOB into people’s everyday lives in an entirely new way,” said Takashi Murakami.
