The Silvers Rayleigh card which was originally released as part of ONE PIECE Card Game set Emperors in the New World [OP-09] is one of several to have recently been reprinted. The new version is significantly more sought-after by collectors—and thus pricier—when compared to the original.

About Silvers Rayleigh (Emperors in the New World [OP-09] OP09-005)

Just as was the case on the original card from Emperors in the New World [OP-09], this Rare Special (R-SPC) card has an illustration which depicts the “Right Hand of the Pirate King” during his younger days when he was the first mate of the Roger Pirates. Although this card doesn’t have an illustration which depicts a flashback scene as was the case with the original, this is more than made up for by the card’s heightened rarity; the original wasn’t anywhere nearly as rare and was thus far less valuable.

This card has also been shown to have gameplay viability. It’s frequently included in the Red Shanks deck due to its ability to serve as a late-game draw engine once the opponent has managed to get Character cards with high base Power into play.

Release Details

Although this card has already been released in English, no information on the English launch of the reprinted version has yet been revealed.

A Silvers Rayleigh (Emperors in the New World [OP-09] OP09-005) card of R-SPC rarity costs 4,500 JPY (~US$30).
