New Balance’s unexpected transformation of their 1906R runner into a loafer, the 1906L, proved surprisingly popular. Building on this success, they are now introducing a striking new “Red Croc” iteration.
About the New Balance 1906L Loafer “Red Croc”
This upcoming 1906L deviates significantly from its predecessors by replacing the traditional mesh and synthetic leather with a complete patent croc leather upper, presented in a rich burgundy red. The distinctive material envelops the entire shoe, from the foundation to the prominent strap.
A subtle contrast is achieved through the heel counter, which showcases a slightly varied red hue. The 1906L logo incorporates a touch of black detailing. Inside, the insole is rendered in white and adorned with branding in black, red, and white. The shoe retains the familiar black foam midsole and rubber outsole characteristic of the 1906R.
Release Details
