ADER ERROR x Converse Chuck 70 Low/Wave Trainer [Release Date/Price/Where To Buy]
ADER ERROR, architects of Korean cool, have been cartographers of cultural currents for a decade, redirecting the world’s gaze eastward. Their first foray into footwear, a deconstructionist drama staged upon the Converse Chuck 70, was a harbinger of a new aesthetic order.
Now, as the sun’s zenith approaches, they return, their vision honed, their language more nuanced, with the ADER ERROR x Converse Chuck 70 Low and Wave Trainer.
ADER ERROR x Converse Chuck 70 Low and Wave Trainer

The Chuck 70 Ox, in this iteration, eschews the baroque complexity of its predecessor, opting instead for a stark, almost monastic purity. An expanse of arctic white canvas, a void of potential, forms the upper, a canvas upon which the brutalist poetry of the midsole is etched.
The pre-weathered sole, a study in distressed chiaroscuro, speaks of time’s relentless passage, of the lived-in narrative inherent in the All-Star’s DNA.
ADER ERROR’s quartet of glyphs, a brand signature, adorns the lateral heel, while wayward stitching, like cryptic calligraphy, hints at a deeper, more abstract identity.
The iconic Converse medallion, typically a symbol of its storied pedigree, is here inverted, plunged into the midsole’s depths, a gesture of iconoclastic elegance. The classic logo, too, is reinterpreted, bearing the indelible mark of the Korean label’s unique visual vernacular.
Concurrently, Converse resurrects the Wave Trainer, a forgotten artifact from their archives, now reborn through ADER ERROR’s transformative alchemy. The collective’s signature royal blue, a vibrant leitmotif, woven with the now-familiar pre-patina, imbuing the archival model with a sense of temporal displacement.
A detachable ankle shroud, a clever homage to the folded-down cuff of the high-top Chuck Taylor, adds a layer of conceptual depth, a playful subversion of the sartorial convention.
