Hello Kitty is partnering with major global brands to bring Yuko Shimizu’s iconic character to life in sneaker designs. The latest collaboration features PUMA, which has introduced a new version of the Kids’ Easy Rider, dubbed the Hello Kitty x PUMA Easy Rider (GS).

Abou the Hello Kitty x PUMA Easy Rider (GS)

Since the start of 2020, PUMA has been working with the Hello Kitty brand to incorporate Kitty White into a range of sport-inspired clothing, accessories, and shoes. This latest release reimagines the classic Easy Rider model with a fun, eye-catching design. Unlike previous collaborations, this version leans into a bold ‘Black’ base, stepping away from the usual ‘White’ theme. The uppers and soles are adorned with playful Hello Kitty-inspired details, giving the sneaker a unique and lively vibe.

The design features whimsical embroidered sketches that highlight Hello Kitty’s signature elements, such as her bow, outsole, and HK branding. The shoe’s name on the side is playfully framed by whiskers, a nod to the character’s iconic look. The beloved feline also appears on the heel, accompanied by the Hello Kitty logo in a classic cursive script. Additional co-branding can be found on the tongue and footbed, while the Sanrio apple logo adds a finishing touch to the shoe’s spine.

Release Details

A specific release date for the Hello Kitty x PUMA Easy Rider (GS) is still under wraps but can be expected to fall in the Summer 2025 window. The sneakers are likely to hit the market at a price point of US$70. Keep an eye out for updates right here, soon.
