Eric “Shake” James x adidas Twilight Collection [Release Date/Price/Where To Buy]
Comprising the Crazy IIInfinity and the Mad IIInfinity Mule.
Eric “Shake” James, founder of Milwaukee-based Clicks Kicks, collaborates with adidas again, transcending previous ventures on the Forum Low and Rivalry Low. This “Twilight Collection”, diverges from retro basketball paradigms, introducing bespoke colorways to the futuristic adidas Crazy IIInfinity and the Mad IIInfinity Mule.
About the Eric “Shake” James x adidas Twilight Collection
The Crazy Illnfinity, embedded with the DNA of Kobe Bryant’s avant-garde Crazy 1, is rendered in a vermilion hue, a statement offset by obsidian accents. James’s touch is evident in the strategic placement of adidas text near the toe cap, the layered Three Stripes on the midfoot, and the customized mesh shroud.
A novel addition of suede on the heel provides a textural counterpoint to the synthetic upper, with a viridescent rubber outsole grounds the design.
The Mad IIInfinity Mule presents a gradient of viridian to vermilion, a seamless transition across its EVA foam structure. Black accents articulate the Three Stripes motif, a graphic signature across the silhouette. A tonal outsole completes the design, a cohesive visual narrative. Both models serve as a tribute to the behind-the-scenes architects of success, mirroring the dedication of athletes.
To celebrate the release of the collection, James and adidas will host a series of community-focused events in Milwaukee. On 1 March, a public basketball exhibition will foster athletic camaraderie. A sneaker fair at Seifert Public School will include design workshops, empowering young minds.
Additionally, on 28 February, Truth Radio will honor James with the Truth Community Award, recognizing his community impact.
Release Details
The Eric “Shake” James x adidas “Twilight Collection” will launch on 1 March, via Clicks Kicks online and in-store. The Crazy IIInfinity will retail for US$140, and the Mad IIInfinity Mule for US$80, both in men’s sizes.
