Montreal’s renowned skate shop, Dime, has been making waves in the footwear world over the past few years. Known for their creative collaborations, they’ve ventured beyond skate-specific designs, such as their recent partnership with ASICS on the GEL-Quantum 360 VIII in two colorways, while also teaming up with adidas multiple times to deliver skate-friendly models like the Superstar ADV, Busenitz Vulc, and ADI2000.

Now, Dime is reuniting with the German sportswear giant to introduce a sleek black iteration of the adidas Gazelle ADV—joining its counterpart in Maroon.

About the Dime x adidas Gazelle ADV

The ADV designation indicates that this Gazelle has been re-engineered for skateboarding, featuring upgrades like a double-layered toe cap for enhanced durability, raised foxing tape, and a more grippy outsole.

For this collaboration, Dime has opted for a predominantly smooth leather upper, with the exception of the heel tab, which boasts a glossy patent leather finish. The iconic Three Stripes logo on the midfoot gets a unique twist, adorned with square studs embedded into the material.

Dime’s branding takes center stage, replacing the traditional Gazelle text on the midfoot with their metallic silver logo and adding it again to the heel tab. While the tongue tag remains unchanged, the insole now showcases a co-branded adidas and Dime emblem.

The design is completed with a black rubber midsole and outsole for a cohesive look.

Release Details

The Dime x adidas Gazelle ADV was officially released on 22 January 2025 via adidas, Dime, and select retailers online and in-store. Priced at US$110, it is offered in men’s sizing. You may also find a pair that’s in your size via the SNKRDUNK App.
