[Yu-Gi-Oh TCG] Sky Striker Ace – Raye (Quarter Century Art Collection QCAC-JP008) [Release Date/Price/Where To Buy]
Literally "more than 10 times more expensive" than the previous peak version of the card.

Prior to the release of Quarter Century Art Collection, the most notable version of the Sky Striker Ace – Raye card was its 20th Secret Rare version from the 20th Secret Rare Challenge Pack; however, in spite of its rarity, that iteration of the card wasn’t worth nearly as much as this one, selling for around 2,200 JPY (~US$15) per copy. The Quarter Century Secret Rare version from Quarter Century Art Collection, on the other hand, has a value that far exceeds those of all six of its previous iterations.
About Sky Striker Ace – Raye (Quarter Century Art Collection QCAC-JP008)
The alternate artwork which is featured on this card’s Quarter Century Art Collection version is its second alternate artwork; the first came as part of Premium Pack 2023. This new illustration depicts Raye about to enter combat, wielding the sword shown in the illustration of Sky Striker Ace – Kagari. Narratively, the imagery follows that of the third artwork of Reinforcement of the Army as shown in the Yu-Gi-Oh Card Game Art Works promotional card version of that card.
The character on this card is the protagonist of the Sky Striker Ace story arc of the Yu-Gi-Oh OCG Stories manga series; as such, those who got into the TCG via that manga series are likely to be interested in this card. Finally, being a card featuring a female character, it thus receives the value boost that many such cards do.
