Cutting-edge fashion meets street art in a highly anticipated limited-edition release.

ACRONYM, the Berlin-based label renowned for its cutting-edge design and functional approach, has partnered with NESM, a globally recognized graphic artist hailing from New York. This exclusive collaboration will see the release of a limited-edition collection of ACRONYM × NESM items.

The highly anticipated drop will commence on 15 February 2025, at 11 AM (JST) and will be available for purchase through both HYPE DROP online and the HYPE DROP Shinjuku store.

ACRONYM

Founded in 1995 by Errolson Hugh, ACRONYM is a Berlin-based brand renowned for its cutting-edge functional design and innovative materials. Since 2002, the brand has released collections incorporating top-tier materials utilized by esteemed brands such as ACG and ARC’TERYX. Errolson Hugh’s designs have revolutionized the industry with their emphasis on extreme functionality, futuristic silhouettes, durable materials, and ergonomic patterns seamlessly integrated into daily life.

NESM

NESM relocated to New York City in 1996, where he collaborated with the design studio “Project Dragon” and the graffiti crew “Fame City.” He returned to Japan in 2001 and has maintained a prolific career as a Graphic Artist.

Regarding this special collaboration, NESM, who enjoys a longstanding friendship with Errolson Hugh, expressed his enthusiasm:

Conceived under the “EAST meets WEST” concept, the NESM x ACRONYM collaboration embodies the fusion of Eastern and Western aesthetics. A striking dynamic logo and an emblem-style dragon were exclusively created for this joint venture.

This collection features three core pieces: hoodies, sweatshirts, and t-shirts. Each garment incorporates a graphic representation of “BERLIN” and “TOKYO” in kanji, a design inspired by the strong ties between ACRONYM and NESM to these respective cities.

All items in this collection are entirely made in Japan, from fabric sourcing to the final stitching. This meticulous approach ensures a premium, soft, high-quality finish with exceptional attention to detail.

To commemorate the release of this exclusive item, there will be an exhibition where NESM’s artwork will be displayed and sold. In addition to limited sales of exclusive items at the HYPE DROP Shinjuku store, artworks by NESM created for this occasion will also be exhibited and sold. Visitors can experience the special space expressed by NESM through his artwork.
