The next edition in the Pokémon TCG’s League Battle Deck series will be arriving in stores on 25 April 2025. It will be the Dragapult ex League Battle Deck—an official version of a pre-constructed Dragapult ex deck.

The date was likely chosen to mark the one-year anniversary of the release of Mask of Change [SV6], the Japanese set in which the titular Dragapult ex card made its debut. Mask of Change [SV6] was launched in Japan on 26 April 2024.

The Dragapult ex deck is one with certified championship pedigree. It’s known to be a deck which Japanese players tend to favor more than international players do; this fact is backed up by the Dragapult ex deck’s best major tournament results all coming at Champions League tournaments in Japan. In any case, it has made enough of an impact on the general Pokémon TCG that it’s now regarded as a deck renowned enough for Creatures Inc. to turn it into the next League Battle Deck.
