Following bold collaborations with UGG and PUMA in 2024, Collina Strada’s creative trajectory continues its captivating dance across the footwear landscape, reuniting with the latter for another compelling project. Having previously reimagined the Suede XL and Velophasis silhouettes, the designer now takes on the Mostro, unveiling a trio of colorways that explore the fascinating interplay between organic motifs and digital textures.

About the Collina Strada x PUMA Mostro Collection

Two iterations share a cohesive material palette and graphic language, while the third embark on a dreamy journey into an 8-bit realm with its multi-hued aesthetic. The “Warm White” and “Rose Quartz” colorways showcase Collina Strada’s botanical signature, with delicate floral patterns adorning the base and echoing the blooms that cascade down the extended, folded tongue.

Each pair is bathed in a tonal luminescence, punctuated by subtle Collina Strada branding on the tongue, insole, and heel tab. A tonal, spiked midsole and outsole complete the artful composition.

The collection’s pièce de résistance, however, is a Mostro cloaked in a gingham-inspired pattern, rendered in a faded, almost spectral 8-bit texture. The effect is a mesmerizing pixelation, transforming the familiar silhouette into a digital mirage.

This captivating visual effect is juxtaposed with the same floral accents on the extended tongue shroud, a delicate reminder of the brand’s organic inspiration. Collina Strada’s branding, subtly woven into the design, reinforces the collaboration’s artistic synergy. The spiked rubber sole, echoing the upper’s chromatic vibrancy, provides a grounding counterpoint to the ethereal design.
