Most One Piece fans agree that the character arc of Kozuki Oden, the former daimyo of Kuri, is one of the most compelling in the entire manga—culminating in a dramatic, unforgettable conclusion. For this reason, it’s somewhat surprising that the ONE PIECE Card Game has never seen a particularly high-rarity Oden card—until now with this reprint of a card originally from the Extra Booster Memorial Collection [EB-01].

About Kozuki Oden (Extra Booster Memorial Collection [EB-01] EB01-001)

This card is a reprint which comes in the rarity of L-SPC; it thus represents a significant rarity upgrade from both its non-Parallel Art and Parallel Art versions. The imagery displayed on the card depicts Oden utilizing his Oden Two Sword Style in combat. The specific technique shown is Gun Modoki; this is known because it’s the only one of Oden’s dual-wielding attacks which has him first crossing his swords in front of him.

Since this card depicts a character who, while relatively popular among the One Piece fandom, hasn’t had much of a spotlight in the TCG up until now but has now been featured on a card with high rarity, many fans are likely to flock to this card. The illustration is also a direct reference to the manga; this further adds to the card’s appeal.
