Impel Down warden Hannyabal was introduced as one of the primary antagonists of the Impel Down Arc. He’s one of the One Piece characters depicted on a previously-existing Leader card who’s had that card recently reprinted with a new Parallel Art illustration; the original card was from the Extra Booster Memorial Collection [EB-01].

About Hannyabal (Extra Booster Memorial Collection [EB-01] EB01-021)

Visually speaking, there’s not much which is radically different between this card and the original non-Parallel Art version. The only significant aesthetic difference lies in the holofoil of the card’s background. Instead, the primary driver of this card’s value is its rarity; the reprinted version of this card comes in the rarity of L-SPC.

The card’s illustration shows Hannyabal wielding Kessui, his double-bladed naginata. Although Kessui is Hannyabal’s signature weapon, he has only used it in combat once in the entirety of the One Piece manga (in Chapter 543); however, there was a reason for this. Hannyabal only brings out Kessui when he deems it truly necessary. This card as well as the original are the only ones which depict Hannyabal wielding Kessui.

A Hannyabal (Extra Booster Memorial Collection [EB-01] EB01-021) card with a rarity of L-SPC sells for 4,500 JPY (~US$29).
