Sengoku, an ex-Marine Fleet Admiral who serves as the Inspector General at this point in the One Piece manga’s storyline, is best known to One Piece fans as one of the main antagonists of the Marineford Arc. As far as the ONE PIECE Card Game is concerned, his cards haven’t typically commanded the level of hype that those of current in-universe Fleet Admiral Sakazuki, this card from the Anime 25th Collection is nonetheless one of the set’s more notable pulls.

About Sengoku (Anime 25th Collection [EB-02] EB02-044)

The Parallel Art illustration on this card depicts Sengoku unleashing a massive shockwave with just a single thrust of his palms by way of his Impact Wave attack. Sengoku is able to do so via the effect of his Devil Fruit; this is also the reason why his palms are shown glowing with a gold-colored light; according to the canonical material, this glow will subsequently cover the rest of his body.

The scene depicted on this Super Rare Parallel (SR-P) card is almost certainly one taken from the Marineford Arc. Though the whole combat scene isn’t shown, Sengoku’s sheer power is nonetheless made evident by the shards and debris seen in the background that stemmed from the attack he launched.

Release Details

The English version of this card will be out in May 2025, as will the other cards in the Anime 25th Collection [EB-02].

Buying a Sengoku (Anime 25th Collection [EB-02] EB02-044) card with a rarity of SR-P will cost 2,200 JPY (~US$14).
